Typically this would include examining the site in terms of planning, record keeping budgeting, priority setting, ICT infrastructure and services decision making, department(faculty) decision making , software selection, professional development, maintenance planning, pool timetabling, student IT policy and staff competencies but should also include any other relevant aspects. A brief description of the ICT infrastructure and services will be included. In the second part students should describe where and how leadership is expressed within such management processes and arrangements. Attention should be given to both explicit goals and policies such as mission statements and roles of committees but also to implicit aspects such as institutional culture, willingness to experiment and responsiveness. The case study should include a description of the roles of the principal/executive in leadership in relation to the ICTs and one other significant leader(eg. the head of the English department).

Students should include any relevant documents as appendixes. This case study should be sent to the coordinator as a digital document and will then be posted to the student web space and made available to others in this course for assignment 3.
